Extraordinary Mission Month
Baptised and Sent:
Resources for the Church of Christ on Mission in the World
Youth & Mission Masses
A resource for renewal in the Catholic Church.
Belong is a resource for communities to draw youth and young adults into the life and mission of the Church.
It provides a clear pathway of implementation for Dioceses, Parishes and schools seeking to be involved in the Extraordinary Mission Month (October 2019) and beyond.
Belong seeks to support the work of the Pontifical Mission Societies and the broader Catholic Church.
Want more information?
The Belong Vision Guide includes an overview of the vision, framework and resources of Belong as well as some preliminary information on the Extraordinary Mission Month.
Our Vision is currently available in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Belong is currently working on translating all resources into these languages and more.
Supporting formation and mission pathways.
Belong is focused on a theology of encounter, proclamation of the kerygmatic Gospel and participation in the life and mission of the Catholic Church.
All resources have been developed to address the four dimensions of the Extraordinary Mission Month including encounter, testimony, formation and action. Together, they form a pathway within the process of belong, believe and become.
All formation programs have a focus on supporting missionary renewal through recognising ‘entry points’ into the faith.
Resources for all.
Parishes, schools, communities and individuals can all access the Extraordinary Mission Month resources for free.
Belong is designed to be relevant and accessible for the universal Catholic Church. The programs are to be accessible for contexts where the Church is both a new and existing reality.
